His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami PrabhupÄda is the revered Founder-ÄcÄrya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). With unshakable faith in the instructions of his spiritual master and the profound teachings of the Vedic scriptures, ÅrÄ«la PrabhupÄda journeyed from India to the West at the age of 69 to fulfill his divine mission: to spread the glories of Lord ÅrÄ« Krishna and the path of bhakti-yoga across the world.
Through his boundless compassion, spiritual wisdom, and tireless efforts, he established over 100 temples and centers globally, translated and authored over 70 volumes of sacred texts, and personally guided thousands on the path of Krishna consciousness. His teachings have illuminated the lives of millions, offering a spiritual foundation based on timeless principles of devotion, humility, and divine love.

Nandotsav & Vyasa Puja Festival
Nandotsav is celebrated the day after Janmashtami to rejoice in the divine birth of Lord Krishna. It is believed that all the villagers of Braj visited Nanda Maharajaās house to see the newborn Krishna and to offer their heartfelt congratulations. Nanda Baba generously distributed gifts, cattle, ornaments, and clothes to saints and sages, who blessed baby Krishna in return.
This auspicious day also marks the appearance of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, the founder-acharya of ISKCON. Born on Nandotsav in 1896, Srila Prabhupada is the 32nd acharya in the disciplic succession descending from Vyasadeva.
